We all have made excuses in our lives. Some just do it more often than others. For the lot of us who always have an excuse up our sleeves, here is a poem. 

 

A Billion Excuses

Asked to do a task

A task you don't wanna do

The truth's gonna need a mask

So? What's your excuse?

Oh, sorry but I'm not feeling well

Just do it already

I'm not sending you down to hell

Don't be so lazy

Just do it and stop

Driving me crazy

Do you have to be so nosy

And make all those excuses

You must have more uses

A person who misuses

All the many excuses

At the tip of your tongue

And all those that you've already sung

A billion excuses in this world

That swirl and twirl

All round 

That are bound

To make some sound

Always make some sound.....
