This is the poem 'Rose' which I wrote in 2018. It was the first poem, moreover, the first piece of writing I ever wrote. I fondly remember writing it and reading it to my parents. It was also the first work I posted. Also, my writing has improved greatly over the five years I've been writing.

Rose🌹
A rose is soft
it lays up a loft
a rose brings joy
to a girl and a boy
a rose is delicate
but sure to fascinate
In Brazil or France
France the city of love
a rose is not to be shoved
a rose brings happiness
to the kind and the careless
Just a rose
a little rose
And now for the one I recently wrote called 'Rose 2.0'
Rose 2.0
The rose is sugary red
the prettiest of the flower bed
A blooming rose starts spring
Love and affection along it brings
A rose blooms connections
A rose is love's reflection
Anywhere you go
A rose will show
The symbol of love
Free as a dove
A rose keeps you restless
Whether kind or careless
The flower of blooming affection
A flower made with perfection
Go ahead, give a rose to your love
And leave the rest to the ones above
