Send this to someone you know who is either sick or taking care of someone sick.
Everybody gets sick, and it's horrible. But it's also quite troublesome for the person taking care of the sick. That is why I decided not to be a doctor. Well, check this story out of a person taking care of their sick young sister.

Sick
I squeeze the water out of the cloth and put it on
my sister’s forehead. She caught a bad fever and is really sick now. Me and my
sister live alone, I work here and she goes to college. She hasn’t been able to
go to college for about four days now since she is sick.
It isn’t easy to take care of a sick person, moreover in the middle of
winter. I get up and walk to the kitchen to make her some tea, which should warm her
up.
I hand her
the tea and tell her to drink it. I ask if she wants to watch something on
stream and she says sure. I turn the TV on and hand her the remote. I tell her
that I’m going to the medical store and will be back in a while. She just nods her
head and continues watching. I grab my coat and scarf and walk out.
It takes me about ten minutes to get to the store. It is freezing out here. I pay for my sister’s medicines and walk home. I stop by a ramen shop and get some packed. That’s going to be our dinner tonight. It starts snowing when I reach home. I get in, take my coat off and put the ramen on the kitchen counter. “Do I smell ramen?” my sister says from the living room. I laugh, she loves ramen so much that she could smell it with a blocked nose. I serve the ramen in two bowls and take it to her; she starts eating while watching TV and looks just like when she was twelve.
About an
hour later, I tuck her in bed and go to sleep.
I’m making breakfast
for my sister, she woke up at eleven o’clock in the morning and came and said to
me, “I didn’t throw up last night,” like it was an achievement. “That
sounds like progress, looks like the ramen actually helped,” I say. She laughs
and sits on the couch; I give her breakfast, and she begins eating it.
If there’s
one thing I’ve learnt from this past week, it is that whenever either of us is
sick, the best option is to just call Mum.
