The head and heart are constantly at war, one never wants to agree with the other. This war never ends even if you find a balance between them. Not to mention that it is a great muse for poets. ;)

The head and heart

Always at war

From the start.

It is difficult

To choose whom to listen to,

Because both seem right

And they are right

But in their own sight.

It is sometimes who you choose to listen to

That tells what kind of a person you can be.

The head always

Thinks everything through.

It is rational and prefers

The responsible thing to do.

But the heart

Is never thinking things through.

It says what it likes

And does what it wants to.

The heart is never rational

Or responsible.

It chooses to do what feels right

And not what seems right.

That's why these two fight.

They are so different

But yet both are right.

It is all up to the soul

To choose whom to listen to and what to do

And the soul is a fool.
